In this ongoing grammar class, we will focus on a different aspect of English grammar each week. During each class, learners will familiarise themselves with the rules, and then begin to put it into practice through activities, worksheets, and games. Learners will use the grammar in both speaking and writing during each class. There will be a worksheet to accompany each class to help to reinforce the grammar. It will be helpful for learners to come to class with these printed out. What will we learn? Week of 16/09/24 - Zero and type 1 conditionals Week of 23/09/24 - Present perfect continuous Week of 30/09/24 - Present simple Week of 07/10/24 - Present continuous; Present continuous or present simple? Week of 14/10/24 - Past simple Week of 21/10/24 - Present continuous for future plans; a/an and the Week of 28/10/24 - The/to + base form for purpose Week of 04/11/24 - Adverbs of manner Week of 11/11/24 - Comparison of adjectives Week of 18/11/24 - Comparison of adjectives with more and most.
