Class Experience

US Grade 1 - 4
In this ongoing grammar class, we will focus on a different aspect of English grammar each week. During each class, learners will familiarise themselves with the rules, and then begin to put it into practice through activities, worksheets, and games. Learners will use the grammar in both speaking and writing during each class. 

There will be a worksheet to accompany each class to help to reinforce the grammar. It will be helpful for learners to come to class with these printed out.

Week of 24/2/25 - Prepositions of place and movement, too and enough
Week of 2/3/25 - Something, nobody etc., verbs of sensation + adjective
Week of 9/3/25 - Used to
Week of 16/3/25 - Reflexive and emphatic pronouns
Week of 23/3/25 - The passive
Week of 31/3/25 - Zero and type 1 conditionals
Week of 7/4/25 - Present perfect continuous
Week of 14/4/25 - Present simple
Week of 21/4/25 - Present continuous; Present continuous or present simple?
Week of 28/4/25 - Past simple
Week of 5/5/25 - Present continuous for future plans; a/an and the
Week of 12/5/25 - The/to + base form for purpose
Week of 19/5/25 - Adverbs of manner
Week of 26/5/25 - Comparison of adjectives
Week of 2/6/25 - Comparison of adjectives with more and most. Irregular comparisons
Week of 9/6/25 - Expressing quantity
Week of 16/6/25 - Past continuous, past continuous and past simple
