Class Experience

US Grade 11 - 12
In this course, we will discuss the role and responsibilities of a State Legislator. I will share my experience and knowledge with real world examples from my twenty years as a State Legislator, ten years as a State Senator and ten years as a State Representative. I like to have plenty of dialogue and interaction so we will discuss with time for questions as I share my knowledge. There is no experience needed to take this course- only the desire to learn more about government and an interest in learning about the workings of the legislature.

Learning Goals

Students will improve their understanding of how their State Government works and deepen their knowledge about state government.
