US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Welcome! Get excited and join me in learning preschool and kindergarten fundamentals! In this ongoing class, students will have fun learning new things and gaining a strong educational foundation. Students will have fun as they master letter sounds and names in our ABC bootcamp program. Each week, we will practice identifying letter sounds and names in an interesting, engaging way. Students will also grow in their ability to recognize sight words, understand, and use words in sentences. Students will also learn counting and skip counting numbers, review shapes and colors. Students will also learn fun facts of some featured animals. Classes are themed, fun and interactive. Activities/Concepts that will be covered each week, but not limited to, are: -Letter sounds/Sight words -Counting/Writing numbers -Shapes/Colors -Music/Rhythm -Nursery Rhymes/Fingerplays -Countries Around the World -Life Skills/ Social Skills WEEK OF JANUARY 8 - ALL ABOUT ME WEEK OF JANUARY 16 - BAKING WEEK OF JANUARY 23 - CATERPILLAR WEEK OF JANUARY 30 - DRAGONS WEEK OF FEBRUARY 5 - EXERCISE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 12 - FALL WEEK OF FEBRUARY 19 - GORILLA WEEK OF FEBRUARY 26 - HEALTH WEEK OF MARCH 5 - INSECTS WEEK OF MARCH 12 - JETS WEEK OF MARCH 19 - KANGAROO WEEK OF MARCH 26 - LIONS My ultimate goal is to provide a fun, wholesome and complete education to all my young learners. Learning Goals
Students will learn the fundamentals of preschool and kindergarten that will get them excited for the next steps in learning.
Students will have the ability to learn letter sounds and blend them to form words.
Students will be given an opportunity to express themselves and share ideas through class participation.
Students will have the ability to learn sight words which are helpful in reading comprehension.
Students will have an appreciation of the beautiful animals and the world we live in.
Students will enjoy learning math concepts.
Students will understand and exercise character values.
