This ongoing pre-k/K class is for students that know most letters, sounds and numbers and want to expand on these concepts. It is taught by an expert teacher with years of pre-k, kindergarten, and online experience. Meets 5 times per week.

This class is taught in English.
  • Students will Name the days of the week and months of the year. Identify and learn how to dress for the weather,identifying temperature and interpreting it Identify all upper and lower case letters of the alphabet and their sounds Identify and count numbers 1-20, skip count by two, five, and ten, measure items using various items, add, subtract, use greater than, less than, and equal to, graph, identify and create patterns Identify 11 colors and different shades of these colors Identify 11 shapes, count their sides and corners Introduction to 3D shapes Reinforce learning of shapes, colors, letters and numbers through various worksheets and engaging activities. Learn beginning reading skills by reading left to right, turning pages and reading sight words and learning beginning phonics Learn about various themes through activities such as listening to books, STEM activities, fine and gross motor activities, music and art. Practice speaking and listening skills through share time experiences.

Details: Homework is not assigned though practice outside of class may be needed to reinforce concepts. You may want to cut out items before class in order to get the most out of the actual class time.
-Handouts for the week- Please print these and have them ready for class! They will be provided no later than the Sunday before. This includes a weekly book that needs cut and stapled. 

-Have on hand- pencil, paper, scissors, crayons, markers, and glue. 

 -A list of additional supplies will also be posted Saturday evening that vary due to a different theme each week. *The science materials are optional if you'd like to have your child participate along side me and will be indicated as such. Snack supplies and sometimes a few art materials will be listed as well when necessary that week. 

-Please print out handout ahead of time and cut and staple the book. 
-Please assist your child with the mute/unmute button throughout this class.
-I ask that children be on camera throughout the class as possible. 
-Please assist your child with cutting and scissors during class time.
-Please allow for adequate space and provide supervision as well will be moving and possibly dancing during this class in order to prevent injury and provide safety precautions. 
-Please provide supervision and adaptations to snacks.
-The science experiments will be optional. If your child is participating along with me, please provide assistance and supervision. 
-Adjust any snacks as necessary due to food restrictions and allergies.
