Let's Draw & Paint a Cubist 4 Leaf Clover Inspired by Picasso

We will draw and paint a 4 leaf clover in this on-time class Inspired by Picasso and St. Patrick's Day
Pablo Picasso (25 October 1881 – 8 April 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, print maker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co-founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co-invention of collage.

I will start of by talking about the artist and showing examples of his work.
With my guidance students will draw a 4 leaf clover
We will adjust a few parts so they don't line up perfectly
Next they will divide the background in sections.
We will talk about Warm and Cool colors and students will be encouraged To paint the clover parts in green (mixing as many types as we can) 
For the background I will encourage students to paint in a range of warm colors (red, orange, yellow and pink)

Optional: We will end by using a black crayon/black oil pastel to outline 
 
Note: Please do not use printer/copy paper...children are disappointed when their work is floppy and doesn't hold up to painting. If you are unable to get a watercolor pad then mixed media would be another choice. A drawing paper pad, though not meant for painting could work as the paper is a little sturdier.
