In this class kiddos get the socialization they deserve and do best by playing with each other. We will play several different games such as tic-tac-toe tournament (ha!), guess my picture, truth or dare, board games, and more. This allows students the socialization that they have been deprived of lately. A time to just relax, be silly and have fun with some new kids. What a great way to get them together and practice socialization skills. The kiddos will leave this class....I mean bash, in a great mood and ready for more fun. **If classes do not have 2 students enrolled I may ask if you want to transfer to a time that works for you. This is to assure we have enough kiddos to have a group to play the games with.

Hello and thank you for visiting my teaching profile.
I have seventeen years of teaching experience in the public schools from kindergarten through fifth grade. I found Outschool as I was homeschooling my son last school year. I have, since then, fallen in love with all that Outschool has to offer and teach full-time and I'm loving every experience.
Though I have experience in teaching all core classes, my most favorite subject is....I can't choose, ha, ha!. Currently I offer reading comprehension, and writing classes as well as various classes teaching priority math concepts. I believe that if I LOVE teaching the class, then the learner will LOVE learning and in the end learning will take place. My lessons include visual models and manipulatives to engage students with learning in a concrete way. I also use graphic organizers and innovative teaching styles and strategies to support reading comprehension, writing and vocabulary concepts. I am patient and very enthusiastic. Last and kind of least, I love pizza and soccer! Ha ha!
