In this class, student will learn typing with lessons covering skill building, accuracy, numbers, advanced symbols, numeric pad. This class is building off the first two classes suggested before you take this class.
Class experience
Students are required to have completed beginner and intermediate level classes before signing up for this class and/or have a minimum of 15 WPM and 90% accuracy. In this class student will be learning skill builders, accuracy focus, numbers letter numbers, advanced symbols, numeric keypad, advanced wrap up, advanced assessment. I have been teaching online for about 15 years, and I have a Masters Degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology that I completed in an online program. I am also a Homeschool mom for 20+ years. I have taught multiple students to read, write, type, and various other subjects over the years. I enjoy finding that right method to help students learn best that is unique to them. :)
Homework Offered
Student will be given weekly assignments to practice their typing. Some of which will include games. Students are required to practice a minimum of 15 minutes a day.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students will be given letter grades on lessons and assignments completed.Grades Offered
2 files available upon enrollmentStudent will need a computer with a working keyboard and mouse. It is helpful if student have a keyboard with a numeric keypad available to complete the lesson on using the numeric keypad. Students will also need a second device (phone, computer, tablet) to login to the outschool classroom at the same time as they are logged into typing.com. Students also need to be typing a minimum of 15 WPM for this level. A printout of the hand placement for each student is available to print if student would like to print it out.

Parents will need to be available to help students with logging into their typing.com account. Parents need to ensure their students are practicing a minimum of 15 minutes a day and completing their weekly assignments.
