Class Experience

I will be teaching students the basics of reading music. We will cover how to read notes in treble clef, and bass clef in addition to how to count whole, half, and quarter notes. Students will be given the opportunity to answer questions and receive immediate feedback. This is an interactive class, but some notes will be taken so students will need to be prepared with at least a pencil and paper. There is no experience needed and this is a great introduction class to reading music. Be ready to have fun and start learning the basics of reading music.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to identify a staff, barlines, treble and bass clef signs, treble and bass clef notes in the staff, whole notes, half notes, and quarter notes. They will also be able to count and/or clap beginner rhythms with the metronome.
