Learn to Draw: Nutcracker Animals!

Are you excited for the holidays? Let's celebrate the festive season by drawing adorable animals dressed up like nutcrackers! In this class, we will create three different animals. I will guide students with simple, step-by-step directions on how to complete each the body of each animal. Then I will show examples of different accessories that each learner can pick from to complete the nutcracker look. Everyone will then work independently to personalize their art. Creativity is important so I encourage everyone to make their artwork fun and unique to them in some way. The amount of time we have to decorate and color our drawings will vary depending on what speed we move through the drawings at as a class. I always work alongside students with my drawing on a separate camera so the instructions are very clear. All learners will be expected to remain muted during the first chunk of instruction and demonstrations so that everyone can listen to and understand the steps. However, once we finish the basic drawing, students will be able to chat with each other and share their artwork as they work on adding their own details, color, and finishing touches. Students will only need a basic understanding of working with a pencil and eraser to complete this class.
