In this self paced class, children will learn a new art called Resin art, where they will be learning all about how this art uses science to help us create beautiful pieces of resin. The main topics that will be covered here are: 1. Introduction to resin 2. What all to buy before you get started 3. How to prepare the silicone moulds 4. How to measure and mix to avoid bubble formation 5. Using resin dyes to create flowers 6. Using mica colours to see the effect 7. Creating you own bookmarks 8. How to remove the finished product from the silicone mould and add finishing touches to it. All topics that involve the knowledge application will be taught in a step by step manner to enable learners in a smooth learning process. The videos will provide each and every step involved in the making of these resin art creativities. The learners will be able to interact with me by sending me their queries as they move along with their course. They can send me pictures of their attempts in order for me to help them in each and every step they need help with. I will love to see the finished products made by them :)

All the materials that are needed to create your resin art will be thoroughly explained to you in this lesson. 13 mins of video lessons
Lesson 3:
Preparing silicone moulds
In this lesson, we will be learning how to prepare the silicone moulds and how to have them ready with the accessories that we want it to have before we pour our prepared resin mixture into it. 9 mins of video lessons
Lesson 4:
Measuring and mixing resin
Here, we will be looking into the technique of effectively measuring and mixing resin to create a bubble free resin art 8 mins of video lessons

Parental Guidance
As resin may get a bit messy, it is very important to have a nicely lit and clear workspace for the learners which may be covered with plastic sheets to avoid any residue on the work desk/shelf afterwards.

Some optional materials to accessorise the creations- dry flowers, glitter, golden /silver markers for resin, deburring tools etc 6. Disposable hand gloves, wet wipes, Isopropyl spray
