Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 5
During this one hour, one time class, students will learn about the Early people of the Americas and we will discuss the how and why they came here. While creating a 3D map of the Americas we will discuss the Land Bridge Theories and what life was like during the last Ice Age. Students will be given step by step instructions of how to construct their 3D maps. Background knowledge about the Ice Age is helpful but not a requirement. Students will be informally evaluated for understanding of this topic during discussions and their finished map.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I love teaching history using 3D maps because it makes history come alive! My past students loved that the maps were 3D and they could move the parts.
