Description

Class Experience

This ongoing class offers kindergarten/first grade level learners individualized reading tutoring lessons. The focus of the lesson will be determined by the parent or guardian at the time of enrollment. Literacy skills might include: 
                                              - phonics 
                                              - phonemic awareness
                                              - fluency
                                              - concepts of print 
               ...

Learners will focus on targeted literacy skills as specified by the enrolling parent/guardian.

I have eight years of experience as a kindergarten and first grade classroom teacher. The last five years of my career has been focused on tutoring students one-on-one online.

Please bring a whiteboard, dry erase marker, eraser or paper and a pencil to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
