  • Apply CSS Styling: Students will learn to use CSS to style their web pages, including colors, fonts, backgrounds, and layouts, to create visually appealing designs.
  • Create Responsive Websites: Students will understand responsive web design principles and utilize CSS Flexbox and Grid to create layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and devices.

They will utilize Replit, an interactive coding platform, to practice writing HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript code in a user-friendly environment. YouTube will be a resource for tutorial videos and demonstrations, providing visual aids to support their understanding of web development concepts.

Additionally, students will participate in interactive quizzes and challenges using Kahoot, fostering a fun and engaging way to reinforce their learning through gamification.

By integrating these tools, students will have a comprehensive and interactive learning experience, gaining practical skills in web development while enjoying a dynamic and supportive classroom environment.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will need accounts for Replit to participate in the course activities. Parents are encouraged to assist their children in creating these accounts to ensure a smooth start to the course.
