Class Experience: Scratch Masters: Coding Adventures What will be taught? In Scratch Masters: Coding Adventures, students will learn fundamental computer science and programming concepts using Scratch. They will gain coding logic, event-driven programming, animation, movement, sound integration, debugging, and game refinement. How is your class structured? The class is structured into a series of engaging, project-based lessons: Introduction and Demonstration: Each concept is introduced with a brief explanation and live demonstration. Guided Practice: Step-by-step guidance on starting and progressing through projects. Independent Work: Time for students to work on their projects independently, with support available. Sharing and Feedback: Opportunities to present completed projects, receive constructive feedback, and celebrate achievements. How will you teach? I will teach using a mix of interactive lectures, live demonstrations, hands-on coding projects, and group discussions: Interactive Lectures: Introduce new concepts in an engaging manner. Live Demonstrations: Real-time coding demonstrations to illustrate the application of concepts. Hands-On Projects: Students will apply what they’ve learned through practical, project-based exercises. Group Discussions: Encourage collaboration and peer learning. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and engaging: Interactive and Engaging: Using a variety of multimedia resources like slides, video clips, and live coding demos. Supportive Environment: Fostering a positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable experimenting and asking questions. Collaborative: Promoting peer learning and collaborative problem-solving through group discussions and feedback sessions. How much will learners get to interact with you? Students will have multiple opportunities to interact with me: Live Lectures and Demonstrations: Real-time interactions where students can ask questions. Interactive Q&A Sessions: Dedicated time at the end of each lesson to address doubts and clarify concepts. Guided Practice: Personalized support during hands-on project work. Group Discussions and Feedback Sessions: Collaborative opportunities to discuss projects and receive feedback. Join Scratch Masters: Coding Adventures to embark on an exciting coding journey, where learning is fun, interactive, and full of creativity. Your child will develop essential coding skills while creating their own amazing arcade games!
