What will be taught? In Enrichment & Clubs: Startup Stars - Merch Design for Kids, students will delve into the essentials of entrepreneurship, covering business planning, marketing strategies, financial management, product design, and customer service. They'll gain hands-on experience in crafting and selling merchandise using platforms like Wix for eCommerce. How is your class structured? The enrichment club is structured as interactive sessions that blend theoretical lessons with practical, hands-on projects. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of entrepreneurship and includes: Introduction and Lecture: Brief overview and discussion of the day's topic. Interactive Demonstration: Live demonstration of tools and techniques. Guided Practice: Step-by-step guidance on starting the project. Independent Work: Time for students to work on their projects with available support. I will use a mix of lectures, interactive demonstrations, hands-on projects, and discussions. Each session will start with an introduction to the day's topic, followed by a live demonstration. Students will then engage in guided practice, where I will provide step-by-step instructions. They will also have time for independent work, during which I will be to provide support and answer port and questions. We will conclude each session with a sharing and feedback period to discuss their progress and address any challenges. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is interactive, supportive, and engaging. I strive to create a positive and fun learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting and asking questions. I use various multimedia resources, including slides, video clips, and live demonstrations, to cater to different learning styles and keep the sessions dynamic. How much will learners get to interact with you? Learners will have multiple opportunities to interact with me throughout the enrichment club. Each session includes: Live Lectures and Demonstrations: Where students can ask questions in real-time. Interactive Q&A Sessions: At the end of each lesson to address any doubts. Guided Practice: Personalized support during hands-on project time. Group Discussions and Feedback Sessions: Encouraging peer learning and collaborative problem-solving. By the end of the enrichment club, students will have created their own online store with unique merchandise, developed a comprehensive business plan, and gained valuable skills in entrepreneurship and marketing.
