Students will learn about the characteristics and habitats of unique animals while gaining an introduction to the classification of living things and the basic principles of wildlife ecology.
I am teaching this class because I am enthusiastic about sharing my life long passion for wildlife with students. I am experienced at connecting children to the natural world and enthusiastic about integrating art, science, and games into environmental education. I have written a book about Michigan wildlife and have experience volunteering with animals around the world. I have a Master of Science in Ecological Leadership and Education and a bachelor's in Environmental Studies.
