This course will be broken up into two sections. During each section learners discuss the fossilization process (what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed, and where to find fossils.) Students will go back in time in order to increase their knowledge of prehistoric life by looking at fossils. Learners should go away with an understanding of what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed and where to look at for fossils.
We will refer to many visuals including our slides presentation, our replica fossil collection and our many dinosaur figures.
