During this two day lesson, students will learn all about the science of paleontology by understanding what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed, and where fossils can be found, all while viewing our prehistoric fossil collection.

Description
Class Experience
Students will go back in time in order to increase their knowledge of prehistoric life by looking at fossils. Learners should go away with an understanding of what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed and where to look at for fossils.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will refer to many visuals including our slides presentation, our replica fossil collection and our many dinosaur figures.
