Join us for a fun class that will give you the opportunity to jump into the Japanese language with our beginner-friendly Japanese class designed for middle and high school students. This course offers a fun and engaging introduction to the basics of Japanese, covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a way that’s tailored to young learners. In this class, you will: Learn Hiragana and Katakana: Start with the basics by mastering these two Japanese scripts, enabling you to read and write simple words and phrases. Build Vocabulary: Gain a solid foundation with everyday words and phrases, from greetings and family members to foods and school-related terms. Explore Basic Grammar: Understand simple sentence structure, verb conjugation, and polite forms to construct basic sentences and questions. Develop Conversational Skills: Participate in interactive activities, games, and role-plays to practice speaking and listening in real-world scenarios. Our experienced teacher will make learning Japanese fun and engaging, with plenty of interactive exercises and group activities. Whether you’re interested in Japanese pop culture, planning a future trip to Japan, or simply curious about learning a new language, this class is a great way to get started. Join us for an enjoyable and educational experience that not only teaches you a new language but also introduces you to the culture and customs of Japan. No prior experience with Japanese is needed. First Four Weeks: Week 1: Hiragana and Greeting Week 2: Numbers and Vocab + Review Week 3: Lesson 1 Roleplay and Grammar 1 + Review Week 4: Grammar 2 and Grammar 3 + Vocab and Kana Review At Miss Brandy's Fun and Learning Academy we have a strict NO BULLYING rule. We believe that it is crucial for learners to have a safe space free from bullying and judgment. We expect learners to respect each other and be kind to their classmates at all times. We will not tolerate bullying in any form. However, we will give students an opportunity to correct their behavior before they are removed from class. Behavior issues are handled as follows: 1. A verbal warning will be given to the student. 2. Student will be placed in a waiting room or break room (depending on the severity). The teacher will chat or have a verbal discussion with the student and student will be allowed to return to class. 3. Removal from class (no refund will be issued) Students will be provided with a downloadable copy of a Japnase language textbook and workbook to use during class.
