Introduction to Psychology: Why or Why Not? This one time course will briefly explore the human brain, including how it impacts emotions and relationships. It is a good place for those with a lot of questions. This class will offer a brief lecture (with visual aid of power point), followed by a case study example and discussion. Students are encouraged to actively engage, ask questions and make suggestions. You do not need any previous experience for this class; it is for teens with any experiences and knowledge base.
Learning Goals
The goal for this class is to provide a brief introduction to Psychology. There is a lot to say about this field, and many topics within it. This course will allow students to "dip their toes in." It will provide an opportunity to learn introductory information at a High School Level.
