In this 3-week course students will learn the basics of photoshop and create an edited picture that will appear to be professional. Photoshop must be downloaded before the start of this class.

This class is designed to teach students to learn how to color correct, blend, shade, create cut outs, blur, transform, and completely alter an image in Photoshop. This is an introduction class and anyone with background knowledge will likely be too advanced The class will be designed as follows: All of the work will be on Screen Share with me working on Photoshop and them copying what I am doing to get in repetitions of how to use certain tools on Photoshop. Day 1: An introduction to Photoshop. After an introduction we will cover how to create a cut out of part of a standard image and then how blur, blend and shade the image. Day 2: Using a new image students will learn how to adjust the color and transform parts of the image to create a completely different image from what we started with. For the last 20 minutes of class students will get started on their own image. Day 3: Students will continue to work on their image and I will be giving them tips and corrections to make their image even better. Their final piece will be the assessment for the class.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to take a typical image and make it look professional using Photoshop.
Students will be able to adjust the color, brightness and clarity of an image.

Supply List
Students need to have access to Adobe Photoshop on their computer before the class begins. Not Photoshop Lite or any other form of Photoshop, it must be Adobe Photoshop. If you have questions feel free to email me.
