Description
Class Experience
We will begin the class with a fun book about cutting a cake in half. Then we will practice it. Using Google Slides, the children will see a representation of a fraction of a cake, and we will practice cutting it in half. Children will learn that when we multiply fractions that the number actually gets smaller. Sample problems: 1/2 of 1/4 of a cake. 1/2 of 1/8 of a cake.
