Description
Class Experience
Unit 1: What is this? Student will learn the term of “what is”= “Zhe shi” 这是 and be able to create the sentence by using the vocabularies taught in class. Such as “ what is this 这是什么/ zhe shi shen me”? This is TV/dian shi 电视. Unit 2: What is that? Student will learn the term of “ that is 那是…na shi” and be able to create sentence by using the term introduced by the teacher. Class activities such as drawing and matching game will be conducted during the session. Unit 3: Where is mom? In...
This class is taught in English.
Through systematic study and training, students will have basic Chinese listening and speaking ability. Be able to correctly write the basic strokes of Chinese characters, be able to recognize and read Chinese characters in textbooks, be able to start some simple conversation and sentence building, so as to cultivate children's learning habit and interest in writing Chinese characters from the early age. This courses will also help to lay the foundation for the next stage of Chinese learning.
Students need to prepare two paper sheets as well as pen and pencils for the class learning.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Youtube Mandarin songs and google doc including class content as well google jamboard will be used by the teacher for screen sharing purpose during the class.
Readings will be referred from Junior Mandarin 幼儿汉语 <Youer Hanyu> approved by Office of Chinese Language Council International as the course material for the curriculum.
