Beginner Level
This one-on-one tutoring class will allow young people to be introduced to the Mandarin Chinese language, become familiar with its sounds, better understand the writing system, and/or learn the basic structures of a sentence. This one-on-one learning opportunity targets learners who are new to the language or who have some initial background. This class is not meant for intermediate or advanced learners of the language. Students can decide whether they want to practise one particular area of focus for the class, or have a more general overview, covering various aspects of the language. Students will need a pencil and eraser, preferably a mechanical pencil with eraser, if they would like to practise writing.
