Intermediate Level
As a native Spanish speaker, a mom, and a high school Spanish teacher with nearly 10 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to teaching the language. I’ve always encouraged my students to explore multiple languages—just as I do with my own children. Learning Spanish opens the door to new opportunities, friendships, and cultural experiences. Mastering a second language has countless benefits. It sharpens memory, enhances creative thinking, and makes problem-solving easier. It also allows students to connect with people from different cultures, building empathy and a broader worldview. Plus, it boosts confidence as students practice and grow in their language skills. In this class, students will learn in a fun and engaging way! We’ll focus on real-life topics such as asking and forming questions, discussing hobbies, sports, and careers. Through interactive lessons and games, students will improve their vocabulary and conversational skills in a supportive, dynamic environment. Whether they’ve mastered the basics or are looking to enhance their Spanish, this class offers a perfect next step. Each lesson will introduce new vocabulary and phrases related to the chosen topics. I use interactive slides to make learning exciting and ensure active participation. We’ll finish each class with activities like conversation practice or engaging games to reinforce the material. Class highlights include: - Creative visual aids (Canva slides) - Practical conversation practice on topics like hobbies, sports, and careers Interactive games and activities - Supportive, engaging atmosphere - Worksheets for extra practice at home If a student prefers not to participate or speak during class, just let me know ahead of time. My goal is to create a comfortable, positive learning space where all students feel supported. Whether students are building on their current skills or diving deeper into new topics, they are welcome to join! What Makes This Class Unique: - Experienced Instructor: With nearly 10 years of teaching, I provide lessons designed for intermediate learners. - Interactive Learning: Lessons are designed to keep students engaged through games, discussions, and visual aids. - Personalized Attention: I focus on each student's progress, helping them feel confident and supported as they improve.
