Intermediate Level
As a native Spanish speaker, a mom, and a high school Spanish teacher with nearly 10 years of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge to teaching the language. I encourage my students to explore multiple languages—just as I do with my own children. Learning Spanish opens doors to new opportunities, friendships, and cultural experiences. Mastering a second language has countless benefits. It sharpens memory, boosts creativity, and improves problem-solving skills. It also allows students to connect with people from different cultures, building empathy and a broader perspective. Plus, it increases confidence as students practice and grow in their language abilities. In this class, students will explore fun, practical topics like food, drinks, ordering at restaurants, and cooking. Through interactive lessons and games, they will expand their vocabulary and conversational skills in a supportive, dynamic environment. Whether students are building on basic knowledge or looking to enhance their Spanish, this class is the perfect next step. Each lesson will introduce new vocabulary and phrases related to these topics, with interactive slides to keep learning engaging. We’ll wrap up each class with fun activities like conversation practice or games to reinforce what’s been learned. Class highlights include: - Creative visual aids (Canva slides) - Practical conversation practice around food, drinks, and dining - Interactive games and activities - Supportive, engaging atmosphere - Worksheets for extra practice at home If a student prefers not to participate or speak during class, just let me know. My goal is to create a comfortable, positive learning space where every student feels supported. Whether building on current skills or diving deeper into new topics, students are welcome to join! What Makes This Class Unique: - Experienced Instructor: With nearly 10 years of teaching experience, I design lessons for intermediate learners. - Interactive Learning: Lessons keep students engaged through games, discussions, and visual aids. - Personalized Attention: I focus on each student's progress, building confidence and support as they improve. My intermediate Spanish class offers a fun, interactive approach to improving vocabulary, grammar, and conversation skills. We’ll cover real-life topics like food, drinks, ordering at restaurants, and cooking, helping students gain confidence in real-world conversations.
