Beginner Level
As a native Spanish speaker, a mom, and a high school Spanish teacher with nearly 10 years of experience, I bring a strong foundation in teaching the language to young learners. I’ve always encouraged my students to learn multiple languages—just as I’m doing with my own daughters—because learning Spanish opens doors to new experiences, friendships, and opportunities. Learning a second language, especially at this Level 2 stage, offers numerous benefits. It improves memory, enhances creative thinking, and makes problem-solving easier. It also allows children to build connections with people from different cultures, fostering empathy and understanding. Plus, mastering new vocabulary and conversation skills boosts confidence and gives students a sense of achievement as they grow. In this Level 2 class, students will have fun while they expand their knowledge! With engaging lessons, games, and a supportive atmosphere, they'll continue building vocabulary and practicing simple conversations. Whether they’ve completed Level 1 or already know some basics, we’ll dive deeper into topics like family, school, and courtesy expressions to make learning Spanish enjoyable and easy. Each lesson will introduce new vocabulary, phrases, and expressions, and I’ll use interactive slides to make learning exciting and ensure active participation. We’ll wrap up every class with engaging activities like games or reading practice to reinforce the day's lessons. Class highlights include: - Creative visual aids (Canva Slides) - Practical conversation practice with native speakers and classmates - Fun games and activities - A warm, engaging, and supportive environment - Worksheets for extra practice at home If a student prefers not to speak or participate actively in class, just let me know ahead of time. My goal is to create a comfortable and positive learning environment for everyone. Whether a student is continuing from Level 1 or looking to improve their Spanish, they are welcome to join us. What Makes This Class Unique: - Experienced Instructor: With nearly a decade of teaching experience, I provide tailored lessons for young learners. - Interactive Learning: Each lesson is designed to engage students with fun activities, games, and visual aids. - Personalized Attention: I ensure each student feels comfortable, confident, and supported throughout the class. My Level 2 Spanish class offers a unique, interactive approach to advancing essential vocabulary, conversation skills, and cultural awareness through engaging activities. As a native speaker and experienced high school teacher, I create an environment where every child can build confidence and enjoy learning. We’ll focus on topics like family, school, and courtesy expressions to provide a well-rounded and enjoyable learning experience.
