Intermediate Level
In this class, students will get more practice with the French language as we have conversation about our lives. First, students will introduce themselves using their name and age. We will then talk about things we like to do, our families, our homes, our favorite things, and more! We will also have conversation in breakout rooms, which will be closely monitored by me. During this class, I will focus more on getting learners to speak in French rather than giving corrections. Based on the group, I will provide videos that can be watched after class for continued learning.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been learning French for 9 years now, from French 1 - French 5 as well as 4 years of immersion French classes. I am conversationally fluent and at a C1 level. I have tutored French immersion from May 2020 through August 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine, and I've been teaching French online for two years.
I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working towards my Bachelors in French, which includes classes in advanced French immersion, French literature, and French education. I attended a 7-week summer French immersion camp through Middlebury College.
I also have my certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), the principles from which I apply to my French classes.
