Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in French.
I have been learning French for 7 years now, from French 1 - French 5, as well as two years of immersion classes. I am conversationally fluent and about a B2 level. I've been tutoring French since May 2020 when the French immersion school near us closed for quarantine and I've been teaching French on Outschool for 6 months.

I took the French CLEP test a few years ago and got maybe 5 points away from a perfect score while testing out of and getting credit for all the French classes at my local community college.

I also continue to take French lessons with native speakers, and I am working on getting my Bachelors in French.
Week 1 A favorite stuffed animal Week 2 Paper Pencil/marker to write with Week 3 Paper Pencil/marker to write with Week 4 No supplies Week 5: Animals Paper Colored pencils/markers/crayons Week 6: Week of Fun! A favorite thing (toy, game, book, etc.)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
This class is for students who have conversationa French knowledge. Your student MUST:
-know their colors, numbers, and basic greetings in French
-know how to understand and answer questions about colors and numbers (what color, how many, etc.) without help from English translations or an adult
-be able to have a simple conversation (what they did that day, favorite things, preferences, whT is this, etc) with little to no help from English translations or an adult
-be able to understand and pick up games and instructions in a French-immersion environment

Students should know how to mute and unmute, or have an adult nearby to help.
For learner safety, books will be read through a shared screen, and students will not be provided with the links.
Books are from ebookids.com and raz.kids.com
The authors of the books are not named.

Note: For learner safety, books will be read through a shared screen, and students will not be provided with the links.
