In this class, learners new to Latin study as well as those seeking instructional support for their school coursework meet 1:1 with Dr. Karen Wieland. LEARNING GOALS 1. Build Latin receptive vocabulary knowledge. 2. Build Latin expressive vocabulary knowledge. 3. Understand and apply Latin noun and adjective declensions. 4. Understand and apply Latin verb tenses and conjugations. 5. Understand and apply Latin prepositions. 6. Develop strategies for translating Latin passages into English. 7. Develop strategies for composing in Latin. 8. Prepare for the National Latin Exam.
