Class Experience

In "I Survived The Great Chicago Fire,"  Oscar  finds himself not only in a new city, but fighting to stay alive during one of the most deadly and famous fires in history.  This high interest book, will grip students' interest from page one and teach them about an important event in America's history. 

Join us as we use  "I Survived the Great Chicago Fire"  to sharpen our reading comprehension skills, expand our vocabulary, and take learning into our own hands with literature circles.

Students will need a copy of the book. They will also need a folder to keep their worksheets and a notebook. All worksheets  will be uploaded to the classroom to be printed by the students.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Nearpod
