Passive Voice
This lesson is about how to use active voice instead of passive voice when writing in order to create the most effective sentences.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
This lesson is about structuring a sentence in a way that eliminates unnecessary words in order to create clear, concise sentences.
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Parallel Structure
This lesson is about putting phrases and words in a list in the same format in order to ensure the sentence is clear and balanced.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Weak Verbs
This lesson is about creating sentences using the strongest, most effective verbs instead the weaker "be" verbs.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Comma, Colons, and Semi-Colons
This lesson is about using the correct punctuation in order to create unique and sophisticated sentences.
Students will learn how to write strong, coherent sentences in order to make their essays and research papers more concise and understandable.
Homework Offered
Students will have a review sheet to complete and submit to me.
