What's included

8 live meetings

Homework
2-4 hours per week. 🎸 I will give you a slideshow with our lessons and video tutorials. 🎸 You should practice at least 15-30 minutes three to four times per week minimum if you want to see visible improvement. I recommend a bit of time every day, however. You get out of guitar what you put into it. 🎸 I give verbal feedback to all learners during each session.

Class Experience

This class is a continuation for my current students only.

𝑾𝑯𝑶 𝑺𝑯𝑶𝑼𝑳𝑫 𝑻𝑨𝑲𝑬 𝑻𝑯𝑰𝑺 𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑺?
We're continuing to learn basic chords, transitions, and strumming patterns as a foundation for future, more advanced guitar skills. Every session comes with a slideshow and/or videos for reference and additional practice. ⭐️ Siblings who take the class together must each have their own guitar and separate Zoom device. ⭐️

𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑰𝑺 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑩𝑬𝑵𝑬𝑭𝑰𝑻 𝑶𝑭 𝑨 𝑮𝑹𝑶𝑼𝑷 𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑺?
Group classes are a great affordable and low-commitment way to find out if your child has an interest in guitar before investing in private sessions. Or perhaps your learner just enjoys or prefers a group environment - many do.

Please see the syllabus for breakdown of weeks 1-8.

𝑻𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑵𝑮 𝑩𝑬𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑬 𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑺𝑺:
Time constraints will not allow for us to tune our guitars in class so you'll need to tune prior to your arrival. Please see the materials section for your tuning options.

𝑰𝑴𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑨𝑵𝑻 𝑻𝑶 𝑵𝑶𝑻𝑬:
🚩 Arriving on time is CRITICAL. Students who come late will not be "caught up" after the group has advanced.

🚩 If a class is missed, students must review the Outschool recording and/or all slideshow/video materials I additionally link in the classroom stream. There are no makeup sessions. These materials are included with your enrollment for all missed classes.

🚩 It's a group class, so the curriculum is set. Students must do their outside work and arrive prepared to move forward because the class can not go backwards for students who didn't reinforce the lessons on their own time.

𝑷𝑹𝑰𝑶𝑹 𝑬𝑿𝑷𝑬𝑹𝑰𝑬𝑵𝑪𝑬:

Learning Goals
As a beginner, you will continue to learn how to play open chords, switch between them, and strum where you left off at my level 2 class.
