Grades 6-12 Drop-In Math Tutoring

*What will be taught?*  
The topics covered depend on the student’s questions and needs. Common topics include:  
- Algebra: Solving equations, factoring, and understanding functions.  
- Geometry: Working with shapes, angles, area, volume, and theorems.  
- Trigonometry: Understanding sine, cosine, tangent, and the unit circle.  
- Calculus: Differentiation, integration, and limits.  
- Pre-Algebra and foundational math skills for younger students.

*Class Structure*  
These drop-in sessions are completely flexible and tailored to what the student needs help with at the time. Each session will generally follow this structure:  
- Introduction: Students share their specific questions or topics they need help with.  
- Guided Instruction: We’ll work together to clarify concepts, solve problems, and address any misunderstandings.  
- Practice Problems: Students will have the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned by solving problems with my guidance.  
- Review: I’ll recap key points and ensure the student feels confident before the session ends.

*How will you teach?*  
- Interactive Learning: Students actively participate by asking questions and solving problems during the session.  
- Customized Support: Each session is entirely based on the student’s needs and learning pace.  
- Visual Tools: I’ll use a virtual whiteboard to explain concepts and work through problems step by step.
