Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
We'll learn a three-step process called "promise, solution, contribution" which will encapsulate all other rules and suggestions for public speaking and effective communication. In this approach, which can be easily adapted to any situation or context, we'll see how to present a problem that's relevant to the listener, show a solution that the listener would only get in that talk and highlight how the speaker has uniquely contributed to solving this problem.
I have taught tens of thousands of classes as an English teacher, and a certified Cambridge University Speaking Examiner, to adults and kids. I've helped students ace their speaking exams for international tests such as the IELTS, Business English Certificate, TOEFL and many more. I have helped them get into top-university programs and gain professional certifications that make them stand out. I want to get started much earlier with your child, so that they are never facing those situations unprepared! What we learn now is a skill we can use for life!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Assessment will be informal but we'll know how successfully we've implemented our rules because everyone will be listening attentively! I'll add key feedback to that and encourage students on how to use their originality and develop a unique approach!
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
