In this weekly ongoing Poker Math + Social class I will teach the basic rules of the card game Poker, and how to play effectively and precisely as well as discussing how the same rules and tactics of Poker can be applied to real life situations like starting and running a business. Giving the student an understanding of the basic maths behind each play. This is a beginner's class; no prior knowledge of the card game Poker is needed.

Beginner Level
In this weekly beginner poker club, I will not only teach you the basic rules of the card game Poker such as the best hands to play, and how to play the cards that you are dealt with effectively but most importantly what hands to fold. You will be taught the basic lingo so that you are able to communicate with the dealer and your opponents and learn basic poker etiquette in the process. You will also be taught different styles of play and in what situations they should be used. As well as learning to play you will be taught basic cards shuffles used in casinos to let you deal like a professional. We will also be discussing how the same rules and tactics of Poker can be applied to real life situations like starting and running a business. My role in this ongoing class is to act as a teacher, dealer and mentor. I will also be available to help students personally with any technical issues they may encounter. My ongoing courses do not need prior knowledge to learn that week. Some of the topics we will cover: Week 1 - Card Shuffling + Live Game Week 2 - Poker Rules + Live Game Week 3 - Poker Tips and Tricks 1 + Live Game Week 4 - Poker Tips and Tricks 2 + Live Game Week 5 - Poker Tactics + Live Game Week 6 - Poker Tactics for real life+ Live Game Week 7 - Poker Maths 1 + Live Game Week 8 - Poker Maths 2 + Live Game Then it will repeat. Please note: *If you do not see a time or date listed for a class that interests you, please message me with a few possible dates and times, and I will do my best to offer a session that will work for your schedule. *Please be aware I try to teach all of my classes, to at least 2 students as I feel it provides a better teaching and learning experience. If the minimum amount of students is not reached 24 hours before the start of the course, students will be moved to the next available section at a similar time. *For parents/families who feel their child would benefit from this course, but their budget does not allow for it, I do offer a number of discounts for families of lower income. Parental Guidance
We will be using free fun chips / markers to help keep score of the game. (Like monopoly money to play with). The teacher will mention how in real life with real money, gambling habits which are not good, can be formed if not understood.
