Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
Beginner - Intermediate Level
This class is designed to improve thinking, reasoning, debating, investigative, observational, active listening, team building & taking turns and communication skills; which are needed for reading and English Language Arts. Each session is a group session packed with 20 minutes of games and colouring; private daily after school family sessions, also available. Being a good citizen is the main focus throughout; so learning how to take turns, how to behave around others and correct responses/reactions (especially for sore losers) will be part of the content for each session. There are 4 learning styles visual, audio, tactile and kinetic; most of us learn through each style evenly, whilst some of us maybe predominant in one or two. This class seeks to engage the tactile and kinetic learners; but all learning styles are welcome; so there will be alot of safe movement in a small space with constructive 'din' and the students will learn games that they can play on Zoom with family and friends. Watch your child come out of class with lots of entusiasm, motivation and very happy; looking forward to the next session!

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a drama teacher, reading specialist and professional puppeteer and I am always making up new games. In these changing times learning is becoming static, there are 4 learning styles visual, audio, tactile and kinetic; the tactile and kinetic learner often gets left out. I believe that playing games assists with the development of how to interact with others, etiquette, academic learning and social skills; colouring allows for the development of eye to hand co-ordination and pencil muscle control. This class will create an Empowering (positive outlook all the time), Passionate (always willing, helpful and enthusiastic), Innovative (spontaneous thinker) Citizen (a model mentor to others)!
