In this one time class, learners will learn about snow (how it’s made and more) and make some snowflakes, including an advanced version. I will also provide printables for after class that will include a more detailed project for learners to try on their own. Class will begin with a brief introduction time, which is an important skill to practice. Next, we will learn a bit about the process of how snow is formed. Then, we will make some snowflakes together. During class, learners will have the opportunity to chat with others that share an interest in crafts, making new friends, and share their finished piece, aiding learners with presentation skills. The materials for this class are minimal.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, my name is Bettina! I have been a teacher on Outschool since 2020 and I teach on 2 additional online platforms. I have a biology background, however, I studied US and World History for 3 years in college, as well as 2 years of Chinese.
I have always enjoyed teaching. My first teaching position, was in Moscow, Russia, teaching English as a second language. Since then, I’ve taught in various settings which include a cooperative, a preschool, and as a tutor in the areas of math, science, and English. I have taught a wide range of ages, often together, but on Outschool, many of my classes are focused on the elementary-middle school ages.
Today, in addition to online teaching, I am a homeschool mom to 3 children. I believe learning is important but should also be enjoyable. I’m definitely not a perfect teacher, but I do put my all into what I do because I believe that teaching the love of learning is very important.
In our spare time, my family and I enjoy binge watching documentaries and playing games together. We also garden and have a love of traveling. I’m an animal lover, I love to cook and bake, and I also like science fiction movies! I am currently furthering my Russian language skills, have begun learning Norwegian and Spanish, and hope to learn ASL, the guitar, and the piano... in the future.
🔵Parents please note: I have begun to take on more private individual and group classes. This means that I am teaching classes that do not appear on my schedule and also that I do not schedule my classes more than a couple times a day. However, if you are wanting a class for your student or group of students during a time that I do not have scheduled, please reach out to me. I will try to accommodate it!
Follow my page to be notified of class listings and thank you for stopping by my profile... I hope to meet you soon!
