Class Experience

This ongoing Fun Russian Step 2 class is designed for students who have knowledge of the alphabet, can put together short syllables and are able to create/repeat simple sentences or for the students who have attended the Fun Russian step 1 course for over 10-15 classes. Here we will continue learning various topics on weekly basis and we will continue advancing our level of Russian language to be able to carry short conversations.

This class will be conducted by a native Russian speaker with the help of pictures, sounds, flash cards, toys, videos etc. for word association with assistance in English language. This class will help your child continue learning the language and advancing it through phonics awareness, vocabulary knowledge, as well as reading, grammar, and communication skills. We will be covering multiple topics with new vocabulary words that we will learn to combine into phrases and sentences. Weekly topics will be announced in groups.
Week of Jan. 3 - 8. Topic: Winter activities
Week of Jan. 9 - Jan. 16. Topic: Winter weather. Winter clothes
As the ongoing class continues the new topics will be presented in upcoming classes.

Hi! My name is Teacher Valeria and I am so excited to meet you! I am very happy to be here as learning and teaching languages has always been my passion (I speak 4 languages). My main goal is to make sure that learning languages is an enjoyable, fun and productive experience. I acquired the qualifications of Master of Arts in Translation at the Faculty of linguistics, Department of Theory, Practice and Translation of the Foreign Languages and Master of Teaching and have 11+ years of experience teaching. I love making it easy for my students to understand and use vocabulary, grammar, phonics and many more aspects of different languages.
