Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a one on one class so each class and each session is individually created to meet the learner where they are and help develop mathematical strategies that will ensure progress and understanding. Any student of mine can expect to learn deeply and truly understand what is happening as math success is achieved! Over my twenty five year career as a math teacher I have seen SO MUCH that I am able to quickly diagnose learning issues and prescribe a course of learning that will overcome your student's frustrations and pessimism. I will truly have your student smiling when hearing the word "math"! Major Topics Taught: 🔔 Whole Number Computation, Place Value and Pattern Seeking 🔔 Fraction Understanding and Computation 🔔 Ratio, Unit Rate and Proportion Understanding 🔔 Decimal, Percentage and Fraction Relationships and Equivalence 🔔 Geometric Understanding; including Area, Perimeter, Volume, Compound Area and Surface Area 🔔. Data Analysis and Graphing _______________________________________________________________________________________ Major Processes and Procedures Used: 🏆 Concrete and Representational Modeling is used throughout my teaching to ensure deep understanding and connections between content standards. 🏆 High level vocabulary and questioning is used throughout the lesson to ensure understanding is achieved and intended connections are made.

This is a one on one class and I meet the learner where they are. I can tailor lessons to support any learning need.
Parental Guidance
Depending on your preference we will use Khan Academy to assign homework and assess periodically. Khan Academy can be used with or without an individual user account. But an account is necessary if you want me to be able to track results.
Pre-Requisites
There are no prerequisite requirements but a positive attitude and willingness to persevere are greatly appreciated!
