Assessment
For parents who would like a final assessment, students will be provided with a one page worksheet of mixed practice with multiplying and dividing fractions. This can then be submitted to me for feedback.

⭐In this 1 week summer camp, students will learn how to simplify, multiply, and divide fractions!⭐

👉🏼This summer camp is perfect for the learner who is looking to gain confidence in multiplying and dividing fractions. We’ll make learning about fractions engaging, upbeat and encouraging!

C L A S S   B R E A K D O W N :

➕Day 1: Simplifying Fractions
Students will work to find the greatest common factor between a numerator and denominator to get a fraction into simplest form. 

➕Day 2: Multiplying Fractions
Students will multiply fractions by multiplying numerators and denominators together.

➕Day 3: Dividing Fractions
Students will divide fractions by...
-Changing the division sign to a multiplication sign
-Flipping the second fraction (the numerator becomes the denominator, and the denominator becomes the numerator)
-Multiplying the numerators and denominators together

➕Day 4: Multiplying and Dividing Fractions
Students will practice a mixture of multiplying and dividing fractions.

  🔻Learners should have some background knowledge of fractions as well as know their multiplication and division facts.
  🔻This class will utilize the chat feature in Zoom in order for learners to be able to privately send me their answers.
