Week 1Lesson 1Simplifying FractionsStudents will work to find the greatest common factor between a numerator and denominator to get a fraction into simplest form.Lesson 2Multiplying FractionsStudents will multiply fractions by multiplying numerators and denominators together.Lesson 3Dividing FractionsStudents will divide fractions by... -Changing the division sign to a multiplication sign -Flipping the second fraction (the numerator becomes the denominator, and the denominator becomes the numerator) -Multiplying the numerators and denominators togetherLesson 4Multiplying and Dividing FractionsStudents will practice a mixture of multiplying and dividing fractions.
Day 1: Students will be able to simplify fractions. Day 2: Students will be able to multiply fractions. Day 3: Students will be able to divide fractions. Day 4: Students will be able to multiply and divide fractions.
