About me: I have been teaching German to every age in various settings for the past 20 years - including language institutes, public charter schools, business and private schools. I am currently working as German language professor at a private university in Los Angeles. Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, I speak high German (no dialect) and enjoy hearing my students develop an accent-free German, naturally by listening to me speak and by hearing themselves repeat German phrases till they become natural to them. I am a very compassionate, encouraging and fun loving teacher and it is a joy to continuously see my students gain confidence in their speaking ability and pronunciation.
