These are some sentence structures your child should understand and be able to answer:
Welche Farbe hat die Sonne? - (What color is the sun?)
Wo ist der Baum? - (Where is the tree?)
Wie alt bist du? - (How old are you?)
Wie heißt du? - (What is your name?)
Wie viele Fische siehst du? - (How many fishes do you see?)
Magst du Pókemon? - (Do you like Pókemon?)
Was ist dein Lieblingsfilm? - (What is your favorite movie?)

Sample Lesson:

This is a sample lesson (not every lesson will look like this):
- Greetings: We will greet each other in German. We might have a show and tell. Let's say we talk about Mario, somebody might want to bring a Mario figure and describe it to us in German.
- Learning: We will learn some new vocabulary related to the topic.
- Discussion: We will have a discussion about the topic (Which Pókemon is your favourite and why?)
- End: We will play a game (maybe on nearpod) to practice the learned vocabulary

I am looking forward to seeing you in my classroom!
