Join my MULTIPLICATION FACTS class now to see how easy it can be for your child to learn their multiplication facts using proven memorization techniques! Did you know that there is an actual “science” to how students can learn and memorize their math facts. In class I use these methods to help the facts “stick” as best as possible and I also show students how to use other tools (their fingers, tricks and tables) when they are stuck to refresh their memory. *All items taught are allowed for use on math tests in school!!! -------------------------- This is a "self-paced" class where your learner will get to watch, engage, pause and repeat if needed my fun and pre-recorded lessons with instruction to help you child quickly memorize, learn and understand their multiplication facts 0-12. Self-paces classes help learner move at their own pace and allow for flexibility as to "when" your child learns. Please Note: Your learner will not miss any class content if you enroll “late" or after class begins. Hello Parents & Students,
I am Ms. S. and I am so excited to be here on Outschool and would love to tell you a little bit about myself and the classes I teach. I am a credentialed teacher with 17+ years of formal experience in teaching in a traditional person setting prior to coming to Outschool. I hold BA, teaching credential and a Master's degree in Education as well. I have taught in grades 2nd-12th grades and I hold an advanced literacy certificate, a certificate in working with gifted students, I also have deep experience working with English Language Learners (teaching ESL) as well as with students with special needs.
I have also taught creative classes such as drawing and photography for many years and love working with students in the arts as well.
My passion as a teacher is making difficult concepts seem easy by making them fun and engaging for all of my students. I truly believe that when learning is fun it keeps students motivated and helps them remember and retain things that may normally feel challenging. I also believe in multi-modality teaching and you will find that in my classes we learn so many things through games, chants, songs, and using visuals to help my students have fun and succeed!
In addition to instructional time in class, students can always contact me to set up a live video session, chat in the Outschool classroom or conversate through email as well.
Since all students are unique and each parent has different hopes and objectives for their student, I am also happy to meet with parents for parent/teacher conference sessions. During these meetings, we can discuss your educational goals, areas for focus, and accommodations for your student that will help them learn.
On a more personal note, I am a mom of 2 sweet children and always kept busy spending time with them and participating this their spots and extracussicunar activities. I look forward to getting to know your student more in class and helping them reach new goals and have FUN doing it!
