Class Experience
Important Note: This is a FLEX class. There will be NO LIVE classes. Quick Overview: In this 4 week FLEX class, students will learn, drill, and practice multiplication facts for families 1-12. Each week, we will drill multiplication facts. We will also learn tricks on how to remember these facts easily. Weekly Detail: Monday/Wednesday: Teacher video for fact families. Lesson will demonstrate how to drill and show tricks for each fact family. Students will be given practice worksheets to drill. Students will be expected to turn in drills and participate in online games against other students for interaction. Tuesday/Thursday: Blooket games will be posted for students to race for the win. The teacher will post a video on how to login to Blooket and play. Blooket is a fun way for students to earn Blooket money, buy more blooks, and race for the highest score. Friday: Student Discussion Day! We will discuss our progress in the Outschool classroom feed on memorization, Blooket game results, and any questions that need answered. Live Help sessions will be available, as needed. We can determine a day/time that works for everyone. Live Help sessions will only be held once a week. Topics Covered: Week 1: 1s, 2s, 3s, 4s Week 2: 5s, 6s, 7s, 8s Week 3: 9s, 10s, 11s, 12s Week 4: Review

Hello! I am currently an online ESL teacher, but I have an educational background in Elementary Education. I have taught students (K-5) in private school and charter school settings. I have over 11 years of teaching experience.
I have a passion for teaching. I have always wanted to be a teacher, since 3rd grade to be exact (WOW! That was so long ago). I believe each student is unique and different. Each student will learn a different way. I use different methods in each of my classes to teach each child to help them succeed.
In my everyday life, I am a mother of two. My son is 18 and my daughter is 14. My daughter is also a competitive gymnast, so we spend a lot of our time at the gym. I enjoy reading and try to read a little every day. I also have a passion for photography.
