US Grade Kindergarten - 10
Amphibians are fascinating creatures - and so are Pokemon! This course is a great introduction to frogs, toads, salamanders, and the mysterious caecilians. We'll study the taxonomy of amphibians, and how they are classified into three Orders. Along the way, we'll compare these creatures to their Pokemon counterparts, and even design some of our own amphibian Pokemon. This is a self-paced course, which means there is no live component. This course contains 2 lessons. Each lesson has a video recording (each about 45 minutes long), extension activities to expand your learning beyond the recording, and a "Create Your Own Pokémon" challenge. Need a discount? Sure thing! All of my self-paced courses are "pay what you can afford." To get the discount you need, sign up for the course first, then message me with the discount you would like, and I will apply a partial refund.

Lesson 2:
Frogs and Toads
What are frogs and toads? What characteristics do they share with salamanders and caecilians? How are they different? Are Bulbasaur, Greninja, and Lickitung amphibians? Why or why not? At the end, we'll also explore some weird frogs and toads that would make excellent Pokemon!
