Homework Offered
I will provide weekly first-grade resources that you can use at your convenience, tailoring them to fit your schedule. While some children choose to bring them to class and follow along with me, it's common for us to not finish every page during our class time. This allows your child the opportunity to complete the remaining tasks during the week, reinforcing what we covered in class.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Welcome to our engaging group time, where we explore a wide range of subjects! This interactive session serves as a wonderful opportunity for children to delve into various topics. Through active participation in discussions and observations, we assess learners' progress and understanding of essential first-grade skills. Engaging in meaningful conversations with the children allows us to gauge their comprehension and ensure their continued growth in first grade.Grades Offered
While a letter grade is not offered, those in the class at year's end will receive a certificate of completion.
For in-class a box containing: pencils, erasers, crayons, or markers. Learners will also need a writing notebook. Outside of class additional work can be done using the same materials.
We will also be doing a movement activity at the end of each class. Be sure your child has room to move around without getting hurt. We will be jumping, running in place, stretching etc.
