Description
Class Experience
Students will find the area of composite figures by breaking it down into familiar shapes.
This is a lesson that I have taught both in a public school with a class of 30 students and in private tutoring setting, and I have always been able to identify the misconceptions regarding this lesson. This helps me adjust the lesson to individual needs.
1 file available upon enrollmentPlease have students come prepared to class with a notebook, pencil and the worksheet attached.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will be assessed in the form of questioning throughout the lesson. Students will also demonstrate comprehension through modeling the steps learned.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
