Students always want to know "When will we ever use this!" Financial Math is a great way to help students make connections from mathematics to the real world. This class is perfect for middle schoolers or upper elementary learners, whether homeschool, public school, or private school, looking for a full math curriculum that connects directly to the real world. In this 24-week course (with two sessions per week), learners will learn basic consumer economics and mathematics and how it applies to everyday life. Students will learn how to perform operations with fractions, decimals, percents, and ratios. Students will also learn estimating, calculating change, understanding wages and earnings, comparing prices, and buying insurance. Students will engage weekly in interactive learning and be evaluated by assignments and online assessments at the end of the chapter to help parents determine learning outcomes.
