For "homework," I provide optional resources that are designed to be enjoyable activities for families. These include Boom Cards, or digital flashcards and puzzles. These activities are for extra practice, and you don't have to do them. You choose if you want to use them based on what you like and when you're free. Beginner Level
In this self-paced class, we'll explore all of the vowel sounds from 'A' to 'Y' over 14 weeks. You can start anytime, and you won't be behind. This class is modeled after my live Level 1 phonics class. Each week, we'll focus on one vowel sound using flashcards and games. These resources include flashcards and picture puzzle games. The class is pre-recorded, so you can watch the lessons at your convenience. If you prefer live classes, I also offer a live version of this class. About My Teaching Style
In my classes, I focus on phonics because I’ve seen how it makes learning to read easier for kids. Over the years, I’ve created hundreds of resources like games, worksheets, and flashcards to support literacy. My goal is to make reading fun and help build strong foundations for all learners.
I hold a Master’s in Education, specializing in Teaching English Literacy and ESL, but my real learning began when I started teaching full-time. That’s when I discovered how important phonics is for reading success. Now, I bring this approach to all my classes!

One-on-one classes allow each student to share, participate, and learn at their own pace. I truly enjoy helping them engage fully in class.
