This course is designed to follow my other course, Exploring the Solar System. Completion of the previous course is recommended, but not required. Students should, however, have an understanding of the planets of the solar system and understand terms like rotation, revolution, and atmosphere. We will explore the following topics in this course: Class 1-comets and asteroids Class 2/3- Pluto and the other dwarf planets Class 4- stars and galaxies Class 5- space travel We will look at each topic in depth and students will have an optional craft activity or experiment to complete after class. Students will learn specific facts and look at images related to the topics covered. Students will have many opportunities to participate and ask questions.

Hello! I am Stacey Rose and I am a certified English teacher and the director of a private school in the metro Atlanta area. I teach classes in reading, writing, and literature for grades K-12. I have been teaching for 20 years and I have experience teaching a wide range of subjects and grade levels.
I have a B.A. in English and history from Loyola University in Maryland, a M.Ed. in English education from Georgia State University, and an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
