This course is designed to follow my other course, Exploring the Solar System. Completion of the previous course is recommended, but not required. Students should, however, have an understanding of the planets of the solar system and understand terms like rotation, revolution, and atmosphere. We will explore the following topics in this course: Class 1-comets and asteroids Class 2/3- Pluto and the other dwarf planets Class 4- stars and galaxies Class 5- space travel We will look at each...
Students will learn more about dwarf planets, stars, asteroids, and space travel related to our solar system.
Students will have one optional activity or experiment to complete each class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will ask and answer questions about the topics in every class.
